Customize the widget
Adjust the launcher and chat panel without changing your site snippet.
Open a widget in Widgets to edit its appearance. The preview shows unsaved changes; choose Save changes to publish them.
You can set the launcher position and label, primary color, light or dark theme, business name and logo, font, and visibility rules. The available controls depend on the current product and plan. Use the values shown in the editor as the source of truth for a specific widget.
Check your changes
Preview a narrow screen and a desktop screen. Make sure the launcher does not cover important site controls and that text stays readable in both themes. Save, then reload a page where the widget is installed. You do not need a new install snippet for saved appearance changes.
To hide the widget on selected pages, use Exclusion in the widget editor. To show a timed greeting or open the panel automatically, use Smart Triggers.
