Smart Triggers
Show a greeting or open the AI chat widget on selected pages.
Smart Triggers can show a proactive greeting or open a widget after a delay. They work with a widget on a verified, enabled domain and follow the widget’s visibility rules.
Open Smart Triggers in the app, select a widget, and add a rule. Choose the domain, page pattern, behavior, delay, and repeat setting. Save the rule, then test it on the matching page.
Choose a behavior
- Proactive greeting shows a short invitation near the launcher.
- Auto-open widget opens the AI chat panel.
Use a short delay so the trigger does not interrupt a visitor immediately. Check both desktop and mobile. If the widget is excluded from a page, a trigger should not bring it back there.
Rules count against the limit shown for your plan. Review that limit in the app before adding many page patterns.
